How to slightly change the color theme of VS Code?

Hi all.

I'm using the github light theme. I like everything, except for one moment. in php files, variables inside a string are not highlighted in any way. I would like to correct this.

Question: how to get to the source of the theme to fix it? And what is the name of the parameter responsible for this?
