How to sign .mobileconfig ios profile?

Hello. A simple enough question, there are tons of videos, but did not come across a working solution on macOS Mojave. I need to sign a profile made on Apple Configurator 2 so that the “Verified” icon appears when the profile is loaded. How to do it?
The macOS Certification Authority signs with an unverified certificate.

I don't really want to register as a developer for $99.
