How to show your work to the employer?

If there are works that are just made up, or made up and attached to cms, how best to show them to the employer? Throw those without cms into the archive and file hosting, or just upload them to free hosting, those on cms just give a link to the finished page? But then it's hardly possible to see the code normally ... maybe it's better to give files? How do they do it?

give links to the works - so that you can feel them, no one likes to mess with the archives,
but ask them to send you a test - where you can show your level.
test - this is usually something simple that is done in 1-2 hours

Personally, I send screenshots to those who ask for it. And so you can upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive, and then throw off the link. But in the event that they need to evaluate your code.
