How to show GIF animation on Android?

I used the Ion library for this , it’s very convenient, but there are memory leaks, it will download literally a few gifs, and already more than 60MB of memory :( at the same time, there is confidence that it is the library that is “flowing”. Those who are familiar with it, perhaps there are ways to somehow “help” her " with cleaning? (other than loading gif images from the Internet into ImageView by url, I don't use it anymore)
Perhaps someone will advise another library / way to solve this problem?

As an option , Glide can do this.
