How to share a folder from a computer for KODI (Raspberry Pi 3)?
Given: RPi3 with OSMC+KODI installed. As well as a computer with a small local collection of movies and TV shows. Both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Task: Watching movies hosted on the computer using Raspberry and KODI.
As I understand it, this can be done using the smb protocol. But how to share a folder from Windows 10 (LTSB) so that it is available on the console itself? Long googling did not lead to anything. I've tried everything I've found and it doesn't work. smb is installed and activated in OSMC, the first version for the smb protocol is set in the KODI settings. What needs to be done next is not very clear.
Is it real at all?

I also use kodi
In kodi, you can add dlna sources: for example, the windows media player can be like that.
I do not know if it is in ltsb, but from my computer (w10pro) I did not bother and turned on streaming.
All libraries that are in windows media player - open perfectly.
I myself wrote a small utility to play video content from a computer via a local network on Kodi, it can be useful, the video is played via HTTP
