I just had this problem with a friend yesterday.
You need to update OpenGL. Many places advise to put it like this , but it didn’t help me (it was ubuntu 14.04).
It was decided by updating ubuntu to 14.10 (reborn earned) and then updating to 15.04 for fresh updates.
As for Linux Mint, it is also worth updating to the latest version, or looking for how to install the latest OpenGL under Mint.
It is enough to update the video driver (it includes the implementation of OpenGL, as you have already been told).
Because repositories often have old drivers, then I advise you to connect this ppa (if you have Nvidia).
