How to set up wifi on Win7 for android without a router?
The second day I can not set up.
I’ll say in advance - I know about programs like Connectify or Virtual Router - but they stubbornly send my laptop to BSoD.
For details, I have CDMA internet, through the Sierra AC595U, which also seems to create a virtual wifi device for itself.
In general, if someone has done this, help with manuals.

here is a detailed instruction, try it.
I did it on my laptop, quite successfully shared the Internet from a 3g modem
Through the command line - 1: netsh WLAN set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid="point name" key="password" keyUsage=persistent
2: netsh WLAN start hostednetwork
run as administrator

List of supported devices/drivers. Check.
I successfully use connectify.me/
Well, there was a post about it a couple of days ago.
A small How-To how it's done for me. About hardware - Wi-Fi is distributed through a cheap network card with a Realtek 8185 chip, which, if it supports virtual adapters, I could not do this, so I connect via ad-hoc.
1. Since android is not friendly with adhoc, I had to download the patched wpa-supplicant from here . We put it as a normal mod through the ROM Manager - we throw it in the root, reboot into the recovery and install it.
2. We raise ad-hoc in Windows: Control Panel - Network and Sharing Center - Wireless Network Management - Add button - "create a computer-to-computer network" - then - enter the network name, encryption and password to taste.
Finally managed to connect Android gadgets (tablet and smartphone) to computer (windows XP) + Ralink wifi adapter. First, I installed the Ralink Wireless Access program (downloaded from the torrent). Turned it into AP mode (right mouse button on the tray icon). I registered the addresses of all gadgets in the MAC access policy (it does not work without it). Then I launched Connectify the old version under XP (it was installed on the computer earlier). Gadgets found a point created by Connectify (and not by Ralink, although it also created its own open point) and voila everything works! In the future, the launch of the Ralink Wireless Access program is no longer needed. Somehow she "taught" Android gadgets to "understand" the Internet from Connectify. Please note that for Windows XP you will need an old version of Connectify (new ones only for win7 and higher). If you write anything, I will share.https://yadi.sk/i/SWuh4iI5W4BvV
