How to set up Wi-Fi connection on Ubuntu laptop?
Please help me set up wi-fi on my laptop.
Just installed Ubuntu and can't turn on wifi. I tried hot keys (Fn + F3), on the item: "Enable Networking" is checked, "Air ..." the mode is disabled, but the list of available connections is not displayed. What to do ? Thanks in advance:)

in Ubuntu 14.04 - kernels 3.13, 3.16 (ppa)
and judging by this , support for BCM43227 comes from kernel 3.17
try to install fresher Ubuntu
In addition to "Enable Networking" there should be an option specifically for Wi-Fi, probably the system does not know your network card.
What version of Ubuntu? What Wi-Fi card? Is there a driver for Linux on the manufacturer's website?
