How to set up whistle as Wi-fi repeater on Raspberry Pi2?

Tell me, I just do not understand the work of the Wi-fi repeater.
There is a modem that distributes Wi-Fi around the house.
In a remote room , rpi is connected via eth0 wired repeater).
If you create an AP with a point name and password, a channel like a router, will this scheme work. Or set up a bridged connection? I just do not even understand the principle of building such a network before understanding the manuals.

This is called seamless Wi-Fi and is usually implemented in fairly expensive equipment.
But in fact, there is no point-to-point transition specification in the waffle itself. Just lower the power of your transmitters and the equipment will automatically jump to a more powerful one.
But to be honest, the task is not the most trivial and there are many underwater stones.

for disassemble, you need to combine eth0 and wlan0 into a bridge, and, accordingly, configure wifi for disassemble in the same way as on the router and everything will work.

And you can also raise the radius server on raspberries. Send a WiFi modem to it and then seamless WiFi is guaranteed.
