How to set up web browsing?
Please tell me how to solve the following problem.
There is a small office - 6 computers. The network is peer-to-peer, I attach a schematic representation of the network below:
Windows XP is installed on 2 computers, Windows 7 is installed on the remaining 4.
The fact is that periodically the computers stop seeing each other. Physically, the LAN lines are working, there is a network connection, but access to the shared resources of neighboring computers is lost.
I suspect that the matter is in the "Computer Browser" service, since I looked into the system logs of a computer with Windows XP and found errors there.
The content of the errors lies in the fact that elections were held on the network, as a result of which a computer with Windows 7 declared itself a master browser. The following error says that the computer with Windows XP could not load the list of computers from the browser wizard (Windows 7).
I tried to disable the "Network Explorer" service on 2 computers running Windows XP so that they would not participate in elections and could not become master browsers, and left this service on 2 computers with Windows 7.
It did not help, access to the balls disappears over time.
Please tell me how to solve this problem.
