How to set up VSC?

Installed Visual Studio Code under Golang.
It seems to be set up, installed, etc. but it gives the
following severity: 'Error'
message: 'can't load package: package c:/Go: cannot find package "c:/Go" in any of:
c:\go\src\c:\Go (from $GOROOT)
C:\GOPATH\src\c:\Go (from $GOPATH)
what is the problem and how to fix it?
