How to set up the choice of parent and child categories in acf as in the example?

On a small site selling cars, you need to change the existing logic for adding cars and make it like on autoria, that is, first the type is selected, then the brand and then the model (all other fields without any logic)

Now the brand and model look like this and actually I see 2 options: make the parent category auto select when the child category is selected, or make the logic as in the screenshot above.


Actually, the first option is in priority because I want to keep the structure by category.

You can do everything on custom fields, but then it won’t work out to make the structure by category (archives, for example, by brand or by type)
