VMware tools installed. Google is pouring answers, but I have tried all these solutions and for some reason my case skillfully finishes them. Help to understand the green.

Do you have an external or built-in sound card? In theory, VMware tools are enough, but you check in the machine settings, is the sound card itself added as a device? Try forwarding through the context menu of the virtual machine, here is an example of forwarding, although there is USB, but the sound card has the same method.

VMware tools is a crutch of crutches.
Tried before. Also VB.
I suffered with both, just a kapets with constant hemorrhoids in the likeness.
Switched to QEMU/KVM and forgot about all the problems.
