How to set up seofilter correctly?

How to properly configure Seofilter to receive links in mfilter2 that look not like /catalog.html?tv|t_filter=Doma&tv|project_general-price=1.25 but
/

both for the old version of the filter, and for the most part for the minishop, and if you do it, then not a damn thing works.
After setting aliases for mfilter2, the links are /catalog/?totalarea=up to%

The rule itself does not work, that is, the link does not change in any way. And the instructions on the site in general for the old version of the filter, apparently, are written. I wrote to the author, but there is no answer yet, and it is not clear how much time to wait for him either.
