How to set up secondary ns?
Good afternoon gentlemen, I decided to buy a VDS for myself and there was a need for a secondary dns address. The host with my tariff gives only 1 IP per car, you can’t buy additional ones. I do not want to use all sorts of trifle.net, secondary.net.ua. But the host gave me DNS hosting for free and even singled out the SP. I am in matters of dns oak without a stick, so I will ask you gentlemen. How do I set up a domain and records on the dns-ke that they gave me so that I would get two ns servers on different IPs. I found the domain how to send it: (ns1.domain.ru/ip_adres_one AND ns2.domain.ru/ip_adres_two), but at the moment it was signed as for VDS with two IP addresses. What for? secondary ns - used when the first one is not available - the address of the backup server. You have one server and if it is not available, then there is nowhere for the second one to come from. When you buy 2 VDS on different hostings, set one as the main, the second as a backup - then you will need to register the second ip. Otherwise, write the same everywhere.
