How to set up Outlook client authorization on an Exchange 2016 server with the desired domain name?

The Exchange 2016 server was installed and configured according to valdemar's instructions.
There is a local domain.local domain and an @exmaple.com domain for mail.

The problem is with client authorization when configuring Outlook.
I enter the address [email protected], then I select Exchagne, it prompts me to enter a password, and it does not accept a password for a login in the format [email protected], it only accepts a login in the format domain.local\test.
The domain address policy for example .com is set according to the instructions above, but does not want to accept the required login [email protected] in any way.
