How to set up mongoDB on AWS?

Faced with the fact that when you raise the server on AWS, there is still no pre-installed MongoDB.
Do not prompt as the database on similar servers is correctly implemented?
Do you need to raise another server separately for the database and somehow connect them, or place the database on the server where the site is?
I would be grateful at least for a link with step-by-step instructions on how to install on ubuntu and how to link.

If we are talking about EC2 and if you have ssh access to the instance, then it is installed in the same way as on any other linux machine.
