How to set up location detection on Android Google.Maps?

It is not possible to determine the location by GPS through Google.Maps. The cards themselves work well. After the command setMyLocationEnabled(true); the "Locate location" icon appeared, but nothing else works.

I really need help, I did several lessons, but this did not lead to success.
