How to set up email notifications when the server fails?

Good morning! Can you tell me a tool or tool (free or not very expensive) that would monitor events occurring with the server and, if necessary, send notifications to the mail? Mainly interested in unauthorized access to the terminal server (ddos, brute force). The servers are mostly 2008R2, but there are a few 2003. I'm not familiar with tench, so ... What to read where to look ?! Thank you all in advance.

Unsuccessful login attempts are written to the logs. You can configure the scheduler to send an email when such an event occurs.
