Read the help, it's hard to advise something else. In Adwords, in fact, there are many more settings and nuances, it is much more convenient than Direct.
But don't expect Google and Yandex to work exactly the same. What region are you from? There is no fresh data at hand now, but earlier in Russia the share of Yandex was higher than Google, which means that your ads are seen there more often. On the other hand, Direct can be much more competitive.
