How to set up capsman correctly?

I set up 5 devices, three hAPs and two wAP points. All devices are on the same L2 network.
The software on the devices has been updated to the latest versions (for all)
I can't figure out the following:
Where can I set up a dhcp server? I configured where I bring up the capsman controller. But it does not work until I add interfaces like capN to the bridge (instead of N, random numbers appear there, from 2 to 6).
The second question is about capN interfaces. Why are they constantly changing? Those. the number changes and they fall out of the bridge on the controller.
The third question, about addressing, is it necessary for controller clients to assign ip addresses at all? Everything works on L2
Thanks in advance!

1. You seem to have Local forwarding configured. show /caps-man datapath print
2. Are the logs empty?
An example of my configuration, where the traffic is driven by the controller:

 > /caps-man configuration print terse
 0 name=ctl-private mode=ap ssid=private-network security=security-private datapath=datapath-private channel=10
 1 name=ctl-public mode=ap ssid=public-network datapath=datapath-public channel=10

 > /caps-man datapath print terse
 0 name=datapath-private client-to-client-forwarding=no bridge=bridge-private local-forwarding=no
 1 name=datapath-public client-to-client-forwarding=no bridge=bridge-public local-forwarding=no

 > /caps-man provisioning print terse
