As a target Ubuntu 16 + iscsitarget.
I read on the Internet that you can somehow speed up the system by caching iSCSI devices in the memory of the server on which the target is installed.
How to do it? Are there any docks?

linux will cache files as normal if it's a normal block device - the OS cache is all the same local whether xdd is /dev/sdX or iscsi is a network block device.
If you are not satisfied with the speed of working with iscsi, then start with the network - the speed and MTU can then be corrected by readahead.
