How to set up automatic updating of a 1C thin client from a 1C web server via https?
The following scheme works for me: Server 1C - Web server 1C - Thin client on Windows
I set up updating the thin client from the Web server on which the distribution kit was published, now if the versions of the client and server differ, then the update is automatic.
Then I switched the server to https: enabled the ssl module, generated a certificate and a key, etc. Changed the thin client distribution publishing address to https.
The thin client has started working, the browser allows you to download the distribution kit. And the thin client stopped updating automatically. There are suggestions why the zip archive is not given over https?

Looks like a platform glitch. For some time, 1C with HTTPS was very sad. Haven't heard anything like it in recent years.
Use the browser and there will be no problems with the update. It's like an option
My situation is a little different: as soon as the versions are changed, it refuses to work. I haven't heard of automatic updates. I will subscribe
