How to set up an OSM server?
Hello. There was a problem from misunderstanding how OSM works. Never used mapping services before.
I needed a local tile server, which I successfully raised and imported the city map there. But now there are questions. How to use all this now in conjunction with the OSM API and, most importantly, where to use it. I will write in YIi 2. I will need to search by objects (streets, shops, and other places.).
As a result, I need to get an interface like google maps. What do I need for all this and where to dig?
Also, do I need to use nomenatim (Is this a search engine?) to search objects?

The OSM API is intended solely for data editing. Data consumers do not need it.
You have set up a server, I hope you have it on postgis. Next, write your API which will use spatial database queries. In principle, the search area, as you noticed, is more than covered by nomenatim.
