I have a monitor called Asus VG259Q. Since it is IPS, I need to set the gamma to 2.2. How can I do it?

How are IPS and Gamma 2.2 mandatory related? Why are you sure that there is a different gamma value there?
There is no such setting in the user manual for your monitor. So, only buy a new monitor that supports color calibration (for example, the Dell professional line). Your monitor has a high refresh rate and is designed for gaming, not marketed as a designer's tool.
