How to set up activity in bitbucket?

I have a private repository on bitbucket. Is it possible to configure that all commits sent to it are displayed in the "Last activity" menu?
On github, with commits to a private repository on the grid, activity still grows.

if you are talking about the panel on the side, then I have quite a display. And, as far as I can tell, with quite a default settings.
