How to set up a virtual machine as a gateway?

Hello!
There are two virtual machines in Virtualbox, both debian linux. Tor is installed on the first machine and all the grass goes through it, vpn is planned to be launched on the second machine (in order to get the tor > vpn chain).
Tell me how to set up these two virtual machines so that the second virtual machine goes to the Internet through the first one.
Please don’t kick me, I haven’t come across a virtual machine and network settings before.
Thank you very much in advance.

one of the selected virtual machines that will go to the Internet, a network adapter, select a connection with the Network Bridge type and specify in the network settings as GATEWAY and DNS your network router, for example.
For the rest, you select the Internal network and, as their GateWay and DNS, prescribe the IP of your virtual machine, which you have chosen as an Internet gateway.
In theory it should work.
