How to set up a thin client on orange pi pc plus so that the video does not slow down?
Input:
Orange pi pc plus,
OS: Armbian (on debian 9)
rdp client: xfreerdp2-x11 2.0.0-dev5
Connection string:
xfreerdp /v:192.168.хх.хх /f /cert_ignore /u:MyUserName /p:MyPassword123 /gfx-h264:AVC444 /microrphone:sys:alsa /sound:sys:alsa /gdi:hw +heartbeat
The server is a modern machine on win10.
In general, the speed of work is not bad, but when you open HD video in an RDP session, it starts to slow down. I suspect that something can be screwed up (either in the connection string, or in the armbian itself).
Or change rdp-client?

Nothing will change from changing the client, anyway, they all use the same video decoding libraries. I would first make sure that the image does not slow down when connected from a obviously more powerful device (laptop), and if not, it's a lack of performance for video decoding. In this case, reduce the bitrate (change the resolution or codec) and see if the situation improves. Well, anything can slow you down.
