How to set up a simple auto-deploy with VCS?

Hello.
Here I have a server, I have a turnip, which tool is the easiest to set up auto-deploy (dev -> dev, master -> prod), just catching hooks from Bitbucket with a script is not very convenient, given that if you need to do something other than a pool updates - the dance with bash scripts begins.
