How to set up a satis private repository?

I'm trying to set up a private repository using satis. Everything works fine via http. I want to set up a secure connection, preferably ssh. [I read it here]( https://getcomposer.org/doc/articles/handling-priv... but I still don't understand where to prescribe what.
