Good day! Help with setting up a Tenda w309r router. Before that, there was a provider on L2TP, everything worked fine. Now Rostelecom with PPPOE connection. Directly without a router, everything works and connects instantly. But if you connect a router, select PPPOE in the settings, enter the login and password from the card issued at the conclusion of the contract - there is no connection. Connection hangs in the status of the router and nowhere else.

The first thing I want to write is: I really do not advise Rostelecom!
What technology are connected? PON,ADSL or Docsis. Do you have any other Rostelecom equipment in your apartment?
If the Internet on your PC works immediately without a router without a router, then most likely the PPPoE configuration on the router is not required.
