How to set up a redirect from an https domain to another http domain?

Hello. There was such a question.
The site has moved to a new domain with hosting. And for the old domain (so as not to lose customers and so that there are no broken links), I was asked to set up a redirect to a new one. But, the bottom line is that before that the site was on an https connection, and now the site is on http. And it turns out that all redirects work, except for https to http.
Question. How to setup? If the new site is on an https connection, will it help?

if the site is on apach then try to register 301 redirect in .htaccess
