How to set up a network on mokrotik?

I have ordered a new modem and a Mikrotik switch at work. Before that, I had never worked with such equipment.
I have no idea how easy it is to connect a router. I tried it yesterday, and only half an hour later I realized how to properly connect the POE cable to the router.

Please help with resources where you can find useful information about the physical connection of devices and their configuration.

Your advice will also be very helpful. What, how and where to connect.
