How to set up a mailing list with Mailgun from the main domain?

Let's say there is a site.com domain. Yandex.traffic is tied to it.
Mailgun is responsible for mail distribution. He also advises using a subdomain for mailings (for example, mail.site.com). I want mailings to come from the [email protected] address, which is used incl. and in traffic rules, and not with [email protected]
Is it technically feasible to implement without changing the service stack?

Email recipients see From, not Sender. Specify any necessary From in the header of the sent message, and send the letter itself through the subdomain proposed by the provider. This is a common practice.
