How to set up a local server with Ubuntu on MacOSX in Parallels?
I want to work with the usual server and OS locally.
With all that, I want to open a local site from a browser in macOS that would be given by the server (Ubuntu) running on the paralells virtual machine. Or VirtualBox, welcome both. How to set it all up?

1) download VirtualBox
2) install
3) download Ubntu Server
4) Create a virtual machine in VB and indicate that you want to boot from the downloaded iso
5) Install Ubuntu, the necessary applications
6) Profit?
If you do not want to fool around with manually installing the OS, I advise you to try Vagrant: https://www.vagrantup.com/docs/
It will raise a virtual machine of the desired configuration for you. Works with VirtualBox by default, but there is a plugin for working with Parallels Desktop: parallels.github.io/vagrant-parallels
