Greetings, I ran into a problem with setting up sending scans to mail from a Canon MF411dw printer. I
went directly to the settings through the browser in admin mode, configured the Yandex smtp server, port 587
And still, after scanning, it beeps and does not send to the mail, while it does not give any error ... I don't know what to do anymore, someone came across a similar problem, help me solve the problem.

Well, maybe he is so old that he does not know how to use TLS or does not want to eat a Yandex certificate.
So the way out could be to make a mailer inside the perimeter of the organization that works on the good old port 25.
By the way, is the time on the printer not knocked down?

I solved the issue, created a separate mail, set it up on Google, played around with the ports and it all worked.
