How to set nickname length in IRC server to more than 31 characters?

I've tried many IRC servers, almost all of them I've found have a default nickname length of 9 characters.
I need at least 64 characters, for example, I set max_nick_length = 64 in ircd-hybrid,
and as a result, nicknames were set to a maximum length of 31 characters (extra characters were cut off from the end of the line).
How to set nickname length in IRC server to more than 64 characters?

IRC is limited in this regard. protocol.
Use MyChat or Jabber, there are no such stupid restrictions.
