How to set custom attributes for product display on Opencart?

Good afternoon, there is a custom filter for displaying products in js.
It looks something like this
. I thought to make my own data-attribute for each product and display the necessary products using it.
And it works. We need to land on Opencart. And can I somehow set my own attributes from the admin panel in the future? If so, how? Or maybe there is another way to do it?
