How to set connection priority to wifi router?

Good afternoon. A MikroTik router and a homemade D-Link signal repeater with ddwrt firmware are installed at home, the main purpose of which is to cover a summer gazebo behind the house. MikroTik is in the center of the house, D-Link is on the back wall of the house. Routers with different names but the same passwords.
The problem is this: all mobile devices, when they enter the D-Link zone, then remain connected to it and even with a very weak signal they do not reconnect to MikroTik, only either when the signal is completely broken or when switching in the settings of the mobile device. Phones and tablets from Apple.
I would like to set the priority for connecting to MikroTik. Is there a way to fix this problem in the router settings? Or using an application from the AppStore? Thank you.

It is necessary on the dd-wrt itself to limit connections at a certain signal level, which will lead to a disconnection where the access point will be the initiator, respectively, the device will connect to the point with the best signal

Make the same network names on both routers, then most of the devices will switch themselves, and nothing can be done with the finished ones - they will hang on the access point to the last.
