How to set background-image in IE11?

Searched the floor of the Internet, put a bunch of crutches and does not help. The picture is not put on the background and that's it. Help solve the problem please.

In IE11 background-image is set exactly the same as in all normal browsers. Moreover, background-image worked fine in IE6 as well. It looks like you're having a problem with something else.

Answer: the picture that was placed on the background did not open in Photoshop. The error "Could not complete your request because an unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found." I opened it in paint and resaved it in the same jpg format (although it became 3 times less weight). Since then, IE has been friendly with background-image.
