How to set a file for logs in php syslog function?

The system I'm working on uses the syslog function in php for logging. And everything is logged to /var/log/syslog.
Is there any way to reconfigure the log file for this system? To write a function to a different file? Can a different flag be set which one or somewhere in the configs to prescribe it? Or write your own function for writing to another file with pens?

the function simply sends a message to the system syslog , and then it drives itself.
smoke syslog settings , php does not play any piano here.
