How to send push notifications depending on the first login to the application?

Recently, I want to implement a small chip for a project like daily tasks.
I figured out how to attach the general form of daily tasks to push notifications for all users, but how to send notifications depending on the first entry into the application?
Nothing better than to keep in the phone's memory the date of the first entry into the application along with a boolean variable - did not come up with.
Can you suggest the best way to implement it? Maybe there are some libraries for this that I did not find?
PS I mean something like a daily quote book, the quote in which changes once a day and remains throughout the day.
