How to send push notification on iOS with PWA?

Yes, the answer is - no way. Apple does not yet support PWA as much as many would like, and they are not interested in push at all.
But there is such a topic

Through Firebase, it seems like it’s possible. But the instructions broke their heads and, as a result, it is not clear - is it possible or not? Maybe someone found a workaround in one way or another after all?
For the same Ionic, there are several videos where push is connected via firebase.
