How to send a request and receive a response using socketio and nodejs?

There is a chat on socketio, I want to send it to html://blabla.ru/api/v1.5/key=&text=<Some text> before the message is displayed and get a response in JSON format, and only then display a message from a JSON string. How to implement this? Do not kick the guys much, for a beginner.

Write your addChatMessage function and rename the old one. In the new function, send a message where you need it (for example, stackoverflow.com/questions/6158933/how-to-make-an... ) and after sending, call the old function.
