How to select today's date in yii2-date-range plugin?

I use the DaterangePicker plugin in a yii2 project, and specifically the yii2-date-range extension from Kartik.

The problem is the following: when you click on "Today", the date is not inserted into the input above. If you select another item, the date is inserted. If you then click on "Today" again - the date is also inserted.
How to make it so that immediately when you click on "Today" the input is updated?
