How to select all files from subfolders and rename with folder names?

An interesting problem. There are 100 folders, each containing one file.
Is it possible to somehow automate the process of transferring all files from their folders to a higher level? and so, to also renew them with the name of the folder in which it lay?

There are a bunch of utilities for renaming files in batches.
The same Ant Renamer.
There you can easily add the name of the parent directory to the file name.
And moving all the files into one directory is not difficult at all.
Though in TC, even in Explorer'e, even on the command line.
Google
The first result will send you to SU, where the methods for explorer are described (highlighted there by the answer), below is for cmd.
