How to search files by keywords (tags) in Linux?

I want to organize local files using keywords (tags) so that they can be searched for later. For example, add to films: main actors, year, sd/hd/fullhd quality. (I know about Kodi, but I need to process not only multimedia files, but documents.)
Dolphin has "Tags", but I did not understand where they are stored and did not find how to search for them.
I watched TagSpaces - in the free version it renames files, I would like it differently, because. Most files have read-only access.
So, wishes:
- it is necessary to search for several tags at once, the wider the possibilities of combinations of conditions, the better;
- opening a file from the search results by the default program for this file type;
- it is desirable to store the tag database in a separate database so as not to open write access;
- free :).
Who can advise?

it is desirable to store the tag database in a separate database so as not to open write access;

And it won't work otherwise. This MP3 and some other media formats support additional metadata. Many others cannot.
I can suggest not to ask the Toaster, but to look in a more suitable place. For example, here:
alternativeto.net/software/tagspaces/?license=free...
