How to screw A510-IP phone to GXW410X PSTN gateway?

I came to the office alone to help in the IT part.
Along the way, it turned out that they had a telephone, and not one, but they didn’t work for half a year.
It turned out that the city numbers were plugged into the GXW410X PSTN gateway, which was connected to Asterisk, but the server has long been gone. But there are soulless A510-IP handsets. To
be honest, I never really messed with ip-telephony, there is little experience here. I got into the gateway settings - the devil will break his leg, at least for a beginner.
Colleagues! Google didn't help me much here. Can you just say - these damn phones can be connected directly to the gateway? Or do you still need an intermediary in the form of Asterisk and the like?
Thank you!

1. The answer "Set up a new server" does not roll, in this small desk there is no extra piece of iron
2. A small desk does not want to pull copper for city lines, since it is very inconvenient in this room, but there is an infrastructure with lan to that server room, so there are no problems with digital transmission

@Apolakov

1. These handsets need to be registered somewhere. This gateway cannot act as a VOIP server. so you can't do anything directly.
2. You need an IP telephony server like asterisk or similar.
PS Stingy pays twice. Any old computer will work for asterisk. Setting up a solution for a small desk for a couple of dozen internal numbers will take about 1-2 hours.
