How to schematically describe the functionality of a web application?

Hello. After some torment, I gave birth to a site for a diploma, and in one of the sections I need to describe schematically all the functionality of my application. In my last thesis, I did this using business process diagrams (dfd, idf0, etc.). But I have no idea how to tie them to my current topic (and they infuriate me). So, I would like to know a more flexible way without any frills and so that it was visual. Thanks in advance.

Ordinary squares with arrows.
Sequence diagrams (to describe what users can do on the site) are also suitable in addition to them: www.visual-paradigm.com/VPGallery/diagrams/Sequenc...
