How to schematically depict intersystem interaction?

I love UML and ER models. I regularly describe with the help of their projected systems.
I need to describe the following scenario: "once a day go to such and such an API and pull out the records that appeared over the past day." Can you please tell me how to describe such tasks "on schedule". I'm most interested in the visual-graphic image.

Standard sequence diagram with method and period. There are a million tools, I use Enterprise Architect if I have the money and draw.io if I don't.
